Has anyone else been successful in getting the controller to function in-game? Does the Play and Charge kit strictly act as a charging cable, and does not pass data? I know that you can use the Microsoft Xbox Wireless Receiver device to work with wireless controllers, and you can use the wired xbox 360 controllers without any problems, but it doesn't seem that the Play and Charge kit fits either of those situations. While still plugged in, if I launch the Game Controllers application (joy.cpl), the controller is not listed, even though it is still listed in the Device Manager as functioning properly. If I press the 'home' button on the controller, the green light just flashes (all 4 lights lit up at the same time) repeatedly until I unplug the PnC cable. However, when I fire up a game that has 'gamepad' support (in this case: Borderlands), the controller doesn't work. When I look in my device manager, I can see that the controller is listed as installed and the properties of the controller show that the device is functional. When I plug the controller in, my machine recognizes it successfully, downloads drivers (v1.2), and installs the drivers successfully.
